Hello, my name is Amy May and I am the library media specialist at DHIS. I have worked in a school library for 10 years before coming here to DHIS for the last five years. I have my bachelor and masters degrees from MTSU. As a lifelong resident of Marshall County, I, along with my husband, raised two children. They both currently live in New Orleans, LA and are pursuing masters degrees. My only "children" at home are my dog Belle, and my cat Rusty. I have a grand dog named Roux and a grand cat named Theodore. I love to read and travel. I love to help students find just the right book they have been looking for. I look forward to welcoming all of you into OUR library.

As we begin another school year, I know we may all have some concerns about how things will be done. The DHIS Library is going to keep you informed and up-to-date. This is going to be an amazing year!
